Meet the Team

Luna "Sam" Mckee
Director/Producer
Luna McKee is a concept artist and matte painter from all over. Moving around over twenty times, rapidly changing people, experiences, and environments filled her with curiosity and inspiration, sparking a passion for storytelling from a young age. In each move, there was always a new and exciting challenge to adapt creatively and technically, which made Lost Track the project of her dreams. Diving into the project first as a concept artist and director, simultaneously wearing every hat, thereafter, collaborating and problem-solving were immensely rewarding. Luna dove into many aspects of the film: directing, producing, storyboarding, concept art, modeling, texturing, foliage, set dressing, matte painting, FX, lighting, compositing, voice acting, sound design, editing, and color grading with enthusiasm. But her favorite part of the film was working with the most passionate group of artists and lifelong friends in the studio every day. When she's not working, she can be found diving down learning rabbit holes, and staying active exploring hiking trails, surfing, or weightlifting.
AJ Almeida is a Story Artist from Portsmouth, NH. Growing up in a family of artists of different mediums propelled her into pursuing a creative career. Famous for being a ‘space cadet’ during her childhood, art was a way to bring dreams to life. Later down the line, a passion for art became a passion for film, and no special features DVD was safe. Her primary area of expertise is Storyboarding, where she experiments with various genres and characters. Lost Track brought on a fun challenge of visualizing the perspective of a small robot in a familiar environment. Despite starting the project as a story and concept artist, she wore hats in multiple phases of production, including modeling, texturing, lighting, and compositing. The most fulfilling part of the process was the bonds that formed among the team she’s lucky enough to call her friends. Outside of work, she can be found sipping espresso at the nearest cafe, seeking out live music, or getting lost in Antique stores.
